Soothsayers and mystics report strange omens and auguries bubbling up from the depths of the Trackless Sea. They have seen the future, and will share it with those who cross their palms with silver – or just threaten them at knife-point. They’re fortune tellers, not idiots!

Firstly, Adventurers League Dublin will not be organising a session on Bank Holiday, Monday 5th August. Our next official session will be held in Gamers World Monday 19th August.

Our Season 4 adventures have finally ended, for some adventurers not for the better, and we can all put the mist-swept land of Barovia behind us; assuming you have the Escaped From the Demiplane of Dread story award or have spent the requisite number of downtime days to do so. For the foreseeable future we will be running adventures from Season 02 – Elemental Evil. This season ties in with the Princes of the Apocalypse hardback. Our Tier 1 tables already have a few Elemental Evil adventures under their belts, and beginning next session Tier 2 will be joining them, so bring your burn lotion.

Tier 3 adventures will be running every second session, beginning on 19th August, and will continue the adventures set in Hulburg. If you thought the last one was a challenge, then strap in; no amount of staves of the magi or cloaks of invisibility can save you!

The big news is that Season 9 is fast approaching. There will be some rule adjustments for AL when they go live some time in September. These rule changes are still undergoing revisions, and are not as extreme as the Season 8 changes, but previews are available here. We’ll announce when these rules are finalised and explain the big changes.

The new Season 9 adventures, which tie in with the Descent into Avernus hardcover releasing in September, have been announced and are scheduled to be released on October 29th and we will begin running them at Adventurers League Dublin as soon as we get our grubby paws on them.

And our final piece of news. Preparations are underway for Adventurers League @ Gaelcon 2019, stay tuned for more info but with luck Fai Chen will make an appearance and perhaps we’ll be able to run another Epic. Gaelcon will be held in the Ballsbridge Hotel from October 25th to 28th.
