Renown Benefits

Renown is a reflection of your character’s growing fame (or infamy) as they go on their various adventures and is based on your character’s current Tier.

When your character starts a new adventure or chapter, they can choose a single renown benefit associated with their current rank. Items cannot be traded or sold and are lost if unused at the end of the adventure.

Renown Items

Adept characters (Tier 2) can choose to gain a +1 weapon, +1 shield, +1 rod of the pact keeper, or a +1 wand of the war mage. Your character’s Magic Item Limit applies to this item, and the item cannot be sold or traded, but can be replaced with other items as you wish.

Faction Item

Adept characters (Tier 2) who are members of Factions can choose to gain a magical ring bearing their faction’s insignia. Your character’s Magic Item Limit applies to this item and it cannot be traded or sold but can be replaced with other items as you wish. The item gained is determined by faction, but is lost you leave the faction.
